Ladies & gentlemen the attitude and expression of legs can be many and various. Without seeing the face we have an impression about the state of mind, and feeling of situation. Legs are the limbs on which a person or animal walks and stands. Keep moving on – in slow motion. We are in a time of transformation.

The Copenhagen based vintage shop Decor is a little hidden gem full of treasures from the past. When you open the door it’s like entering an era and an atmosphere that nurtures the desire to look into all the small boxes, suitcases, drawers and corners. The shop is full of beautiful decor, old photos of vintage icons, extraordinary dresses from the 1920 -30’s and -40’s, colourful silk kimonos, crocheted gloves, sophisticated hats and unique fur coats. The shop is a little time warp whereby people and objects of one period can be moved to another.
Address: Decor, Rømersgade 9, 1362 Copenhagen.

Ladies & gentleman, there is something great about creating new meaning to old photo’s and postcards. A new today and a new future combining the change of paradigm to a more organic juxtaposition. Creating new ideas by exploring the old and authentic.
These photos are made by the British conceptual artist John Stezaker. Found at todayandtomorrow

Old photos from New York (from the 1920s-1930s) describing a farewell to a city which consist of it all. The good and bad, the smell, the sound, the noise, the tolerance, the respect and lack of it, the crime, the unfashioned being fashion, the quantity and quality, the rich and the poor and a middle class paying for it all, fast food to the extravaganza, a green wave not being very green, consumerism to the maximum, space for minorities, different cultures, religions, sexualities and various genders. Thank you NY – you did it so well!
Ladies & gentlemen what is your NY?
